World Cup 2010-south Africa?

Now that the Euros are over we can look to the future at the next world cup. Plenty of things to discuss

Will it happen in South Africa? Where will it go if not? Crime, transportation, and infrastructure issues. I have heard that some of the arenas are already 3 months behind, and that the budget has escalated to 6 times the original number. And what about the Confederations cup to be played, they need 4 stadiums, fanzones, transportation to the fanzones, hotels and everything else a major tournament needs, in less than 1 year. I don't know if it will be ready or not, if not it will be a total disaster and bad news for South Africa and Africa as a whole really. I hope it comes to the states if they need to find a new place.

Theyve got 2 years left, not 1 year.

I thought England had been chosen as back up, no way will it go to the states so soon after 94.
