Thanks to the seven people who submitted answers to the first quiz.

The answers to the questions were:

2. Who did Chelsea play in their first ever game? Stockport County

3. Against which team did Frank Lampard score his 100th Chelsea goal? Huddersfield

5. Which of our current squad, at the age of 20, was rejected by Graeme Souness on the grounds that he wouldn’t make the grade? Deco

The way I have worked the scoring is to award two points per question and also a bonus point for participating. The overall table is ordered on the basis of average score (obviously as this is week 1 the average score is the same as the total score). The bonus point for participating is to encourage people to submit answers to each quiz and the average score method is to encourage people to enter even if they come in later on.
