Just a quick post to say thanks to all of you who use the Amazon link on the index page before ordering goods from them. So far in 2010 this has resulted in just shy of £55 being added to the forum bank account.

For newer users who are not aware of this this is also a chance for me to point it out! If you click on the Amazon link on the index page before ordering goods then 5% of whatever you spend is redirected to the forum's bank account (yes it does have one although I doubt we will be getting any gold card offers in the near future!). Worth bearing in mind with Christmas around the corner.

Thanks for the timely reminder, Loz. As I am flying over to Scotland for Christmas this year, I shall have no room in my suitcases for presents, so I shall be buying as much as I can from Amazon.

My two top presents which will be going out to everyone I consider worthy will be Bruce Robinson's Peculiar Memories of Thomas Penman (he is currently working on the screenplay for a film of it!) and the DVD of Peter Mullan's Orphans.
