  1. Yes he did pushed under bus 78/79 season he was a Chelsea fan who lived in Brum we came unstuck a couple of times in the 70s tried to take the Spion Kop the big side terrace but didn't have the numbers most of The Chelsea were in the Tilton End
  2. A lot of Millwall in the 70s came from the Isle of Dogs where they was originally from a lot of the porters in Spitalfield Fruit and Veg market were Millwall and came from there and Shadwell and Wapping
  3. Thought he was Chelsea in the Sweeney as there are a few references about going to the Bridge
  4. There is a flag being made at the moment 60 x 40 foot with all the names of Chelsea Fans that have left us. May be too late to get him added there is a group on Facebook called North Stand do your Job who are organising it
  5. Shame would have liked to have gone but it clashes with a well known Chelsea lads 60th in Ireland I'm sure a lot going there would have gone to it like last year

  8. Think there was 6 in the 60s early 70s changed to 3 when East Stand got redeveloped the middle one on the West side being a double sided pylon. There was lights under the roof of the new East Stand to replace the missing pylon. I believe the lights at the Bridge were the first to be bright enough for colour TV
  9. Might have been 1973 FA Cup Quarter Final Replay was locked out that night we lost 2-1 disputed penalty

It was called Tites first used to go there in the 70s had a big spider hanging from ceiling a few of us from Bellingham used to walk back from there along Copers Cope road I'm sure we saw Squeeze play there to get a late drinks license they had to serve food with your beer they used to give you a bit of spam on a paper plate by 2 in the morning the floor was covered with it
  15. It's on the downside of East Croydon station where the cabs queue up next to the old PO sorting office it's still there but a bit more upmarket now

In 78 when that picture was taken it was still the original terracing which went under the seats as well, we was on the left hand side Everton were on the right with no fence between just a couple of coppers they thought they would chuck a few things chant Everton and we would scatter we just charged through the Old Bill scattering them soon there was a lot more Old Bill suppose they thought we would run out the back like everybody else did in them days

  24. Good Day out last Tuesday (20th) at the Shed End 50th Anniversary Xmas Bash at Marcos in Stamford Bridge then onto Clarence North End Road for some old style ska and reggae loadsa old faces and reminiscing about the old days just about recovered can't handle it like I used to.
