    In more recent times, Falcao. This year, Cavani. Both would have been great acquisitions, given our never-ending problems with strikers ever since Drogba started waning. :(

    It is quite clear by now, that no top striker is joining us this season. No Lewandowski, no Falcao, no Cavani, no Suarez. Why is nobody talking about Higuain? The guy is only 25 and has a good scoring record despite sharing striking duties with Benzema and the sensational Ronaldo all the while. He comes with a good PR and has has good work ethics. He's a proper number nine and will fit well with our wide wingers. Why not go for him? We can surely outbid Wenger's 23 million. It is pretty clear that Torres is no good, and Lukaku is too much of a gamble for an entire season.
