A few more positive responses. I did say I was forecasting a bit of a turn around, now it's begun to sink into minds. I can tell we had a few people thinking it was a terrible Idea here to begin with. However, I know that some of you now have thought and maybe even out loud - "You know what, I think that Big Sam could make an impact at the bridge given the chance... He'd certainly repair what damage has been made, so we can get over the other side to snatch the EPL trophy before City do." Ok. Maybe not exactly that. But I'd like to think I painted an image of Big Sam holding a support truss keeping the bridge intact, so Chelsea can cross over into 1st place dreamland once again.- New to the board, long time viewer.
Thank you, I value your response and will bare that in mind. Now if I said get Avarm in, it would've caused a meltdown to the server. And everyone would be flaming it within seconds. So I believe people have actually thought and considered about Big Sam. There's a bit of a mixed reaction. But perhaps others are buying time to really think about Mr Big Sam before posting their opinion. Which I forecast to be positive.- Who to buy in the next transfer window and who to sell ?
What about Emmanuel Adebayor? Just about to post a thread about him actually but thought it was too early. He needs a Fresh start somewhere and I think he'll fit in to exactly what we need. On Fifa 15, I signed him up for us and he was our top scorer.- New to the board, long time viewer.
But the thing is, we're not even a Mid tar team? Looming over the relegation zone. I would take Mid table over being relegated.- Jose - Needs to behave better.
I think he should go back to Porto at some stage of his career. He was good when he won the champions league with them. Back to Porto!- New to the board, long time viewer.
Wow, this board is very hostile at times. A few nasty comments, but I will give the minority a second chance. Thanks for the welcoming messages guys.- New to the board, long time viewer.
Well Ironically my first name is Sam. But I'm not Big. I see myself as a average. I mean this with no disrespect to anyone that is larger than average on this board. So no, I'm not Sam Allardyce.- New to the board, long time viewer.
You didn't mean "reverse" as that would imply it was a Bad decision to Swap? Not attacking or picking holes, but come on. Think before you post guys.- New to the board, long time viewer.
Off topic. Why can't I vote my own thread up? Because I obviously agree with my own post?- New to the board, long time viewer.
Hello, I firstly want to say that I appreciate and respect everyones opinions. PLEASE, I ask kindly to keep this in mind before Flaming me with sarcasm and abuse with this thread! With regards to another particular thread, where I gave my opinion of "bringing in big Sam", to replace Jose to steady the ship, I did get a few mixed views. He surely would lay down the basics and send us in the right direction. Where the board could decide whether or not to extend his contract. Who know's, as I said before... If he managed to catch Man City and win the league he could be a permanent feature (if we did get him) To me, it seems as though I've come across a bit of a Marmite debate. I'm guessing people either love or hate the Idea of having Big Sam, I personally would love it if we managed to swoop in for him before someone else does! With that aside, I do understand I have signed up to a board full of Blue Banter. And look forward to the good times together. Lastly, before you reply to this thread think deeply about Big Sam, managing a team with capital begind him. (He's never had money behind him) And look what he did to Bolton Wanderers etc... "Because every small time manager needs to start at a big club somewhere" - SMOKE.- Premier League Expectations
Now the board have backed Jose, I'm certain we'll finish inside the top 20. - New to the board, long time viewer.
