And at the time, KDH looked like a very easy deal to do for a replacement home grown player, who is young enough to be able to flog on in a few years without losing a ludicrous amount. It helped us out with FFP, we helped you back with the £5m sweetner for the youth player.

He's already made the step up, when he returned from Luton to Leicester and played well in the premier league in his first season. The question isn't whether he's a premier league player; it's whether he's good enough for where Chelsea wants to be, which I don't believe he is... unless you want to be midtable.

He played well for us in the premier league in his first season. Everyone was muck the relegation season. Not sure he’s top end of the league quality, but calling him a championship level player is insulting.

That's not really true, it just meant a total change of style as we had Tielemans and Ndidi and when he came on the scene they were both playing well. Eventually he got in the team and stopped in. First year in the premier league he was decent, the second season the whole team was garbage. Honestly, I don't get why you'd want him though. He's a decent little player, but you aren't aiming to scrape into the top six are you, and I feel so far that's about his level. I also didn't get why you'd want Maresca either, but that's me.

He played the end of last season and was in fine form straight off the bat. He’s fine after it, it’s the little niggling injuries you can get after a bad injury I’d worry about. He came into the season having to be managed though them.
