this one is for Coco because his dog used to sit on the best sofa and chuck the expensive cushions Coco had bought on the floor! And it's lovely to hear from you, young man. Especially as you've posted the best emoji of the all. I've forgotten how to do emojis! Can't find the right page thatn you got the Scottish saltire from.

Here I am again, and I can reveal that I found a lovely letter from Coco in which he was talking about how cold it was in Worcestershire, but he was about to into a 40° jacuzzi with a brandy. Then he said, "Talk to you aqain soon, probably when I get back from the jacuzzi". Prior to that the conversation had been about a poster he and I both disliked, so I draw a veil over that. My lips are sealed. Coco was always very discreet but sometimes he was interested in finding out whether people whose opinions he trusted were of the same mind as himself.

I have been away for a long time, then had an email from Chippy asking me what I was doing and why I wasn't posting any more. Truth is I was quite low in spirits after Lofty left us, and by the time I felt like coming in, of course I had forgotten my password. So I asked Chippy to contact Mod for me, and Mod told me the sad news about Coco. God, he was only a youngster compared to me! I can remember when he announced the birth of his grandson. Coco was pure gold, as we say in Scotland. When I read the sadness of the ShedEnders who knew him well, I find myself wondering how much greater the grief of his family must be. I wish them strength to concentrate on all their happy memories of Coco and take pride in the knowledge of how much he was loved on here. And, as an old woman, I give myself the right to comment on how gorgeous he looked in his black leather jacket. Now I'm going to look in my mailbox to see if I can find any old letters from him.
