Interesting to note that in just 116 minutes played this season, Christian Pulisic has more goals than Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner combined, is tied with Kai Havertz, and is just one behind Mason Mount and Romelu Lukaku.

Love to see that. Go someplace where he can start, not ride the pine.

Dude plays MLS guys (Ariola, Llegett, Roldan)because the league mandates it. That's why Americans get pissed. You see what happens when he plays a mostly European - based US team. Better results and the team looked awesome. Gee...

Yep. Mexico did some real dirty stuff in the second half - yet we get red carded. Figure that.

Pulisic wrecked Mexico. And that, lads, is why you call him up.

Uhhhhh... no. I like Mason Mount too. He is a stud.

Not accurate. This window is a MUST GET six points. Later on we travel to Mexico, to Canada, and end at Costa Rica. Our manager sucks, so we will probably drop points in all three. Nothing is given. US soccer can't survive another 4 years of no WC.

Uhhhh... no. There is this event, pretty important, called the Olympics. And, if Pulisic ever has a good World Cup showing, he would rake in the endorsement dollars here in the US big time. So, you couldn't be more wrong.

True. Just hope it is not a recurrence of the same injury.

Pulisic still looks injured. And it looked like he was limping at the end of Burnley. Hope it wasn't Chelsea that rushed him back too quick. That would be ironic now.

World Cup is the most important tournament in the world. Period.

Still waiting on someone to tell me the difference between playing 20 minutes in the most difficult league invthe world and playing 20 minutes against Mexico. How CP isn't match fit, yet able to play against Malmo and Burnley but can't against Mexico and Jamaica. Please tell me how he can be match fit enough to play there but not here. Waiting.

Again, explain the difference, since you conveniently sidestepped the issue.

That's wonderful. But if you don't think exposure in the United States and remaining relevant to the public here is important, especially when you are the "captain" of the US national team, then you are a special type of ignorant.

Explain those differences. Does he run slower? Try less? You are full of it. The premiere league is the best in the world - nobody is going half speed on a run, or half-ass on a challenge. Period. Again, if he is ready to compete at the highest level of competition in the world, I think he is good to go 30 minutes against the Reggae Boyz.

Uhhhh... ok. That is a relief.

So, he was "eased" into a match in the most competitive league in the world. Lmao. And you are are worried about him seeing a half hour in Concacaf? Interesting.

Rushed back? Dude missed almost two months. And if Chelsea didn't think he were "match fit," no way they would have played him against Malmo and this Saturday. They would have sat him, come up with some excuse, and handcuffed the US from bringing him into camp. But he is obviously good to go. If it was up to you Chelsea fans no foreign born Chelsea players would ever be realeased for national team duties. You would wrap them in Saran Wrap during international breaks and keep them locked up at Stamford Bridge. Real world doesn't work like that.

Yeah? Explain the difference between playing 20 minutes for Chelsea and playing 20 minutes for the US. Can't wait to hear your rationale.

Returning to fitness? Dude is already fit. Gave 20 minutes Tuesday, will probably go 30 or more against Burnley. Even is he only gives the US a half against Mexico, that is huge in our most important qualifier. Love how you guys question match fitness of a guy returned to play in the Premiere League, as if he is hobbled. Guy is either ready to go or not. If he is ready for Chelsea, he is ready for the USMNT. Sorry it is annoying you that we are trying to qualify for the most important tournament in the world, one we missed out on in the last cycle, and we need our captain and best player to do it. SMH

Hard to misdiagnose a high ankle sprain. For them to put a ten day window on it makes no sense. And the video i saw of Pulisic shooting jump shots with Chilwell, ain't no way he was nursing a high ankle sprain.

Never seen a professional club, in any sport, not update its fans on the medical condition of its players when it involves an injury. Doesn't happen here, in any sport. Big difference between an update on a "twisted ankle" and revealing a player tested positive for an STD. And, along that note, Chelsea has no issues telling the public when a player has tested positive for covid, now do they? My point is, there has got to be much, much more to this situation for it to be so clandestine heading into the second month of the player having disappeared from the club with what was relayed to the public by Tuchel as an "ankle sprain and a ten day recovery window."
