Tight game between two pretty similar teams. Not many chances created by either side. Think people need to realise that we are not better than Manutd; it was always going to be tough. In the end, we are unbeaten under Potter. I would say it was a decent performance with how the game played out. Both teams were pressing and not much time was afforded to players until later in the game. I think we had some good chances, namely Aubameyang (twice) and Sterling when he refused to shoot. I like the positivity of his changes through matches. He is not afraid to adjust the squad and doesn't seem to be worried about player's reactions to being subbed off. It is going to take time. Some of our players just aren't good enough, particularly in the front line.

I sort of wish we didn't sign Aubameyang. It will always cause problems with playing youth players. I think Potter has done more with Broja than most managers would - just need patience and I think more games will come. I do believe Broja is his type of striker more than Aubameyang.

Decent performance, overall, in a very tough game against an equal opposition. A draw is a good result - this game won't decide whether we get top four.

It is a cagey game. Both teams have barely created anything and both sides are pressing. I would say we have edged the chances on quality, to be honest. Possession is very equal. Not saying it is a great game, though.

I don't think this performance has even been that bad. I just think we are facing a team that is quite equal in level.

Sterling not shooting, again.

I understand why - to be honest, we have a bit of a weird mix of players. We have no real DM since Kante has become a full-time patient. We have no replacement wing backs to continue our attacking play, so we cannot sustain a formation.

Yep - Sterling is a bit concerning. I haven't really watched him much recently at City, so I'm surprised his ability to dribble seems to have dissipated - that was by far his best asset.

Sterling not shooting is insane, but Aubameyang should have done better, also.

Never in doubt. Potter rarely drops points when his team score first - last 18 games at Brighton where they took the lead under him ended in 16 wins and 2 draws.

The players' decisions have been so stupid. Chilwell just kicking it into a player and giving away possession. Passing has been shocking.

Having possession and being trashed isn't control.

I think the passing was more concerning than the system. The players were messing up simple passes and passing to open space when nobody was there. They just kept giving it back to Villa.

Chillwell and Cucurella have been poor.

He is playing right wing - not sure what the problem is. Chalobah is the one playing RWB.

Not sure how that wasn't a foul on silva.

Aubameyang - class goal. Hope Sterling wasn't offside, though. Edit - Nevermind, he was miles onside.

Red seems harsh, but it is definitely a penalty.

Potter definitely likes a keeper that can pass - if he doesn't fulfill the role sufficient, wouldn't be surprised if we got Sanchez from Brighton.

It is never a great sign when a team loans a player out after signing them only half a season ago. Must have been pretty bad at Juventus.

With, arguably, the worst finishers in the league. You should see a miss compilation; it is awful. And I mean missing right in front of goal. They also missed, I believe, 10 penalties in a row; 2 in one match. And that was with multiple takers.
