  1. As an aside, the former AFC Wimbledon manager Mark Robinson who was an abject failure at the club over recent seasons was sitting in the dug out v Man City. If Potter is seeking advice from Robinson, then we really are scraping the barrel.
  2. Can I be the first here this weekend to come out with the phrase that best captures what we need to do going forward…….Potter out !
  3. If the players aren’t performing, that’s down to Potter as well. If he was at school, his end of the first term report would simply say ‘failed’.
  4. The stats Sky were showing before kick off today are worrying ie goals scored, chances being created etc. Graeme Sounness then questioned why the club would ditch two attackers (TW and RL) but then go and spend £175M on three defenders. Crazy when you think about it.
  5. Potter will be bulleted in the summer if this type of performance continues. He is well out of his depth. Mind you, with some third tier Swedish team, Swansea, and Brighton on your CV, it’s been a dream move for him. Probably quadrupled his wages and got a long contract. Easy money.
  6. For clarity, neither of those characters are me, I assure you, Bluehaze. I have been called many things in my life…..but have never been accused of being a Spurs fan lol. My points remain…..A it’s clear to me that RJ was brought back too soon, and B it’s just my personal opinion that Potter is not going to prove to be the man for the job…..though obvs I would loved to be proved wrong. Yes I do watch football at The Lane but only when the Blues are the oppo (was lucky to be there three times I think it now is since their new stadium opened). Happy new year.
  7. Interesting to see Reece’s personal trainer clearly absolutely seething over the latest injury, the inference being that RJ was rushed back into action too quickly. If true, then this is totally unprofessional by the club and also totally unacceptable. Amateurish almost. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing but for his first game back, why didn’t Potter just give him 45 minutes either the first half or the second half, and build him back in match situations from there, especially when at half time, we were cruising along very comfortably. Jury for me still very much out on Potter. As someone said after the Bournemouth game, this job could be proving far too big for him.
  8. Potter completely out of his league managing a big club. No CV to undertake such a role. Massive mistake sacking Tommy T and replacing him with this rookie. It will end in tears, probably sooner than we might think.
  9. The facts are that if you look at Potter’s CV, he’s a total rookie with a couple of decent seasons behind him. I was concerned when he got the gig. I am very concerned now. He may well be completely out of his depth. In fact he most probably is. It was a high risk appointment and it’s not now playing out well.
