  1. Good point. I understand that in this crazy little world everybody is fighting for his or her own merit, no doubt, but then coming out, crying and shouting angrily that he feels to be dropped by the club and the board and that the way the club treat him is a disgrace is utterly not understandable, given the fact that the club offered him a deal worth 140.000 a week for 4 years. Can a club be more loyal to a player by offering him a contract to make him out the best paid player in the domestic league and assuring again and again that they won't sell him, that they want to keep him, that they have rejected every bid (and will do it in future)? I agree that Frank would have been at a better place when simpling sorting things out and leaving with "tabula rasa" rather than now acting in a Soap Opera. And if he has the desire to play in a Soap, then he should do it where his talents are appreciated.
  2. Not surprising. It has been quoted as a soap opera again - the second time for Chelsea the Soap Opera after when Jose left the Bridge. I think this is going to become my third DVD-Cover ... I've doing a graphic series with "Chelsea the Soap Opera" as little DVD Covers (well it's to make a joke visual) and although I have made the Second Edition last time, I think I cannot hold on myself to make a third.
  3. Ah, well that makes sense. At the beginning I thought about the tables which they have at the doctor's ... but that didn't make any sense to me
  4. Kerry replied to Gem's topic in Chelsea FC Rumours
It's naturally understandable ... I imagine he wants to be there where he is surrounded by his kindergarten mates Spanish friends where he can be sure to be understood.
  5. It's a bit out of logic for me to believe that Chelsea have really let him fallen down and that Frank has fallen down of grace for the board, despite the fact that the contract should have been settled the last year. Here I agree; those things should have been resolved earlier to avoid the soap opera that is going on for now and causing so much unhappiness. But if the rumours are true that Chelsea have offered a 4-year-deal and agreeing to make out of him the highest-paid-player in the EPL - then I'm wondering seriously why Chelsea have let Frank fallen down in disgrace. Why. In the reports last year at the same time, the tabloids speculated broadly that Frank's most simple wish was to get financial parity with JT. Now even the highest wage in the league wouldn't satisfy him. So if this isn't evil greed - what's then? OK maybe it's questionable whether to offer a 4-year-deal or a 5-year-deal, but it's clear and understandable that at his age of 30, there is hardly a club that would offer 5-years. With Chelsea, things are different because Frank Lampard has become the living legend at the Bridge - but imagine, it's hard to imagine Wenger offering someone 5 years - at this age. So I wouldn't classify Chelsea's unwilligness to offer a 5-year-contract as a disgrace.
  6. This is the craziest news (besides Ronaldo on ManU/Madrid) I've heard this summer. What's coming next to top this? Hey, mind me but even Pele coming out of retirement could proof himself to be more useful to Chelsea than this ... er ... guy
  7. What's the last picture about? Are they testing the motor activity?
  8. Either Scolari has made any hints to the board about his future plans, or they'd rather let him go on a free transfer next year than allowing him to go now. The last option could have any impacts on nect season, I hope they really have made a conclusion and aren't planning on stretching this thing
  9. I'm rather wondering if he wants to tell us "Shut up and don't make a bid" or "Please make an astronomical bid, even more astronomical than you're supposed to have made already". Sometimes it's not easy the read the Italian code ... we know it by the Inter movements! Up and down!
  10. Me too. Especially because there were the most hilarious rumours around. BBC was sure that his English is nonexistent while Sky thought that his English is good enough to get to work immediately. Let's hope the best
  11. Or to rot in the reserves - if Chelsea is ever going to do such a thing but there tabloids are never short of hot story
  12. He was on the ferris wheel of Prague and it looked really, really, really good! That was such a lovely idea
  13. Well this becomes slightly bizarre. First Moratti and The Ordinary One put Lampard on the top of their to-get-list. This was blown up and heated to an extent as if they wanted to push ManU/Real out of the tabloid sections. And then Mourinho's denial and his eloquent reply that he gives up the chase. And then BBC "understands" faithfully there is something going on - OK, there's a fax. That's not a proof that talks have started - just that there is a slight hint that there could be some talks ... tomorrow ... next week ... whenever. Let's see what BBC "understands" the next day.
