Lampard or Ashley Cole for me.

Hi first post here Van der Vaart probably wouldnt fit in too well in my opinion, i think in our current 433, he wouldnt really work in midfield with Lampard and Essien, but also wouldnt really fit into the front three as a winger. He doesnt really have the class of his teammate Sneijder either, although he would make a good squad player; I think there are better options. Id rather have Marek Hamsik, he's younger and has more potential, although Napoli would charge a fortune for him. We could do with a bit more creativity in midfield as Ballack and Deco arent really doing it at the minute. Upfront I think we should go all out to try and get David Villa, I think he is the best striker in the world, better then Torres. If the money is there I think we should be prepared pay up to £40m for him, he's that good. If we can sign another striker we should go 442, Drogba and Anelka dont work as a partnership and i think Villa, Drogba upfront would give the team more balance and be at their best an unstoppable duo. Finally I think this squad needs a fast winger, but with a better final ball then SWP and more consistency then Robinho, maybe Ribery? or Quaresma. Even so a winger would add some much needed pace into this slow side. So id like to see us sign David Villa, Ribery and Hamsik, very realistic then.
