In recent season Ferguson has bought so much sh*t has was bound to get lucky once. We have found a few gems recently ourselves- Sturridge, Ivanovic and some of our younger players are looking pretty decent so it's not all bad. Modric looks an ideal signing, brings creativity and a good work rate; if not him Sniejder and Nasri are good options

Id only have Johnson and possibly Albrighton, but even those two aren't chelsea quality and would cost £10m+. Kjaer would be a very good and cheap alternative to Luiz, but i'm not convinced we actually need a defender yet. We should be looking at the likes of Chamberlain, Lukaku, Hazard, Pjanic- all but Chamberlain would cost more then these but are young and their values are likely to rise while they help us challenge for trophies. Id rather we spent £18m on Hazard or Lukaku then wasted £10m on Matt Jarvis or another £18m on a fullback who will hardly play (Zhirkov).

I still think Anelka is best in a central position, but without a right winger what can we do? In: Aguero £38m, Sneijder £40m, Johnson £15m, Subotic/Luiz £20m Please?

If we are looking to buy a centre back in January as cover and lack funds, recalling Mancienne would be a good option. He has had plenty of Premier League experience and I doubt whether someone like Cahill or Phil Jones would do much better here. I think Bruma should go out on loan to a EPL side, Ancelotti still seems unwilling to use him. The only midfielder I can see having much success is McEachran, I doubt someone like Cork will even be used as cover. Upfront Sturridge should be playing much more given those such as Anelka's poor form; same with Kakuta, he is now 19,= and has got to be better then Kalou. I wouldn't be bothered if Borini or others left, as I doubt they can make it here. It would be good to see Ancelotti use Sturridge, Kakuta and McEachran as impact players while we are struggling and I cant see a reason why we have to buy an average centre back. Would like to see Lukaku come in the summer also.

No and it would be stupid to try him there, he has only recently started playing well on the left, so I'd keep him there.

All the kits were going to have that design, but they mustve changed there minds and given all three different styles. Looks better then the real one imo. I wouldnt think its worth that much.

Good to see a number of our young players on loan at bigger clubs, hopefully they get played not like Sahar at Portsmouth last season. We've got Rajkovic and Stoch at Twente, Bertrand and Reading, Di Santo at Blackburn and Sinclairs now at Wigan, hopefully some of them will get into our 1st team squad.

Its a win win situation for us. If he stays, good. If he goes, we will have got £40m for a 29 year old defender, alot of people are saying we should sell him but dont have the guts too. I will have been wrong about him, as I thought he wuld stay at Chelsea and wanted to win something. Although you cant dny he is a top class player and captain who has been brought through thr ranks at Chelsea, something we dont really want to lose. We would however, still have enough central defensive cover, as we are strong in that area and £40m would go a long way to bringing Aguero etc. to Chelsea. Still, cant see him going, but I might be wrong. We cant be held to ransom by him saying he wants a massive money and a long term deal, he deserves to be around the same level as Lampard but nothing more.

Sniejder can be brilliant but Van Der Vaart is nothing special, I'd also rather we went for Aguero or Pato.

Im in favour of letting Kalou go. Strikers we have: Drogba Anelka Di Santo Wingers: Malouda J.Cole Kalou Stoch Ideally we should sign a young striker and a top winger to replace Kalou. In defense all we might need is backup at leftback, all though alot of big teams (Man Utd, Arsenal just use youngsters or play people out of position as backup there, so it is unimportant). Strikers: Drogba Anelka Arnautovic?, Benzema?, Aguero? Di Santo Wingers: Malouda J.Cole Ribery?, Dembele? Stoch would be an improvement

It is unconfirmed and I remain unconvinced, Id rather we payed £40m on a standout player-not necessarily Ribery, who would really imrpvoe our first choice team. Im not too sure Zhrikov will get into the team ahead of Malouda and while we need a backup leftback and a winger, I think it would be better to take a gamble on a cheap leftback and pay big on a winger. Still, if he does sign, I hope he does well.
