  1. Just us well Roman is away at the moment. This result could easily activate the trap door switch. Pathetic performance from everyone at the club. Three Point Lane.... Yeah ok
  2. At least the SFL fan boys will be happy. Should be easy to spot at the Chels v City game in there Lampard shirt singing the super SFL song. They may cheer the City winner as well.
  3. Just had a look at Google maps to check out the footprint of the Kingstonian ground. There appears to be a lot of surrounding land (except the graveyards) nearby. Could this be a pre cursor for a new stadium and a move away from Stamford Bridge. There is a South West station nearby (Berrylands) which would have to be totally redeveloped. It seems strange we want the youth teams to play away from Cobham. Can't really see big attendances on a week by week basis.
  4. First of all they would have to build a massive structure to cross the Overground railway lines. Also the entire perimeter of the west side of the cemetery is made up of catacombs which house hundreds of bodies dating back hundreds of years. Then you're straight into the burial ground. With the best will in the world the sudden influx of thousands of fans into a cemetery is a non starter, especially for night games. Not to be too coarse but you would have to relocate graves which is never going to happen. The best solution is one mentioned already, a walk way from the rear of the North Stand to West Brompton Station. Knock down the gym and I'd reckon you could redevelop the North Stand to accommodate a few more thousand fans.
  5. Went past Battersea Power Station yesterday. Safe to say that ship has well sailed. Looks like they're taking the chimneys down brick by brick !!!! It all come down to egress. If we don't widen all the exits or create new ones then there will be no rebuilding. Unfortunately some of the properties are listed buildings and most of the occupants are loaded £££. With regards to the East Stand being rebuilt the tiers would have to go over the railway line such is the steep angle that would not pass H & S rules that are present today. So knocking down the hotel and the Chelsea gym will not make a blind bit of difference I'm afraid.
  6. Liverpool will be f**ked then. They have just lost there main income stream in Torres. They won't qualify for the Champions League again next year. They face the same problem as we do, they cannot expand there ground and if ticket prices were the same as hours the ground would be half empty. Add to the fact the the economic meltdown will cause more pain to those in the north then the south then income streams will be even less. Gerrard/Carragher will need replacing, Reina will get fed up. They will all need replacing. Arsenal will get stronger, Man City will get stronger. Chelsea and Man U will remain at the same level and Tottenham will push the top four. Where Liverpool figure in this god only knows. Luckily the mismanagement of Liverpool by the Yanks will take years to rectify............Shame.
