Yeah that would brilliant if it did happen lads, would be up for a drink for sure. We havent done well of late in the cups, our last big run was in the FA cup that year we reached the 4th round after beating those lot down the road from yours, fulham, at the cottage, that was a brilliant day :) Brisbane road is a nice little ground, im hoping Barry Hearn doesnt persist with this Olympic stadium move, would hate that, we can barley fill 9,000 every other week, let alone a 20,000 capacity stadium! Currrently we are 1-0 up away at Colchester in the Carling Cup!! Hope we can hold it together

Sorry if this uniteresting to the majority of Blues fans, but I just want to discuss my Club, the Mighty Leyton Orient, and thier prospects for the season. Last season, we were in deep sh*te, in the relegation zone for long periods, players werent performing, and us, the fans, beginning to lose patience with Martin Ling. I personally felt he couldnt take the club further at the beginning of last season, especially as the first half of the 2007/2008 season we were well in the play off positions for a good few months, even top for a few weeks. then we began to lose are way, and we ended up finishing 14th that season. Thankfully, Barry saw sense, and got rid of Ling when he did, the new manager, Geraint Williams, put a sense of enthusiasm into the team, and the players responded well on the pitch, and we managed to storm away from relagation in the end. This season, we have got rid of alot of players, Adam Boyd has gone back to Hartlepool, Paul Terry, who was well past his best, was released, and a few other first teamers as well were also released. I am quite happy with the replacements we have brought in, Jimmy Smith is an exciting player, as well as our new powershouse centreback, Chorley, and our new strikeforce, Scrowcroft, Church, and Patulea, have looked pretty decent in pre-season. then theres our best player, Jason Demetriou, who will be our most important player this season. I hoping for a promotion push, far fetched i know, however, I believe we can be a surprise package this season, and if we play well the way i know we can play, we will give the bigger teams in league one a run for their money this season.

Not Malouda's position to be honest IMO, he is a wideman, and playing him through the centre would not be that effective to the team.

Van der vaart would be a good acquisition for any top premier league side, though personally, I'd rather have Sneijder if were a premier league side supporter, i feel he is the one who is more than likely to control a game than Van der Vaart, and his range of shooting is deadly as well.

In refererence to the opening post, for me, Id prefer to have Mikel in a line up over Ballack, Ballack for me i feel is past his best, and Mikel should develop into a tidy player.

Yeah will do mate, he scored a lovely goal against newcastle the other week as well, he is a decent player at our standard of football, quite skillful.
