  1. Gem, that doesn't mean he hasn't said it, and even if he has, that doesn't mean he's a racist, in my opinion (no doubt some will argue). Sue QPR for what? All they've done is report something to the FA for investigation, which they are perfectly entitled to do.
  2. I hope you're right. I'm giving you my honest opinion, having looked at it, nothing to do with the media. I know how they hate Terry. To me, saying "f**king knobhead" makes perfect sense in the context I've described. You call someone one thing, then you call them another. My wife does it to me all the time .. I'm not saying it to be argumentative. I hope and pray he hasn't said it, and if he has, I hope he gets away with it. He will get enough grief for it as it is, the stigma will remain, and he'll be assumed guilty whatever. I feel desperately sorry for him and his family. He has had the great misfortune of playing for Chelsea, for had he represented any other side, he'd be recognised as one of the world's great footballers, and afforded the respect he deserves.
  3. If I'm right and he's said it, there are 3 things worth bearing in mind .. 1. Anton is out of earshot. Terry is saying it to himself more than anything, and we all say things to ourselves we'd rather keep to ourselves, or am I the only one? 2. Busquets was caught calling Marcelo a monkey in Spanish and nothing was done by Uefa. 3. If Terry played for Barcelona he'd be fine.
  4. I've got to say that, to me, it doesn't look good. It looks like Terry's saying, "Hey, Hey, Anton, you f**king black c**t. F**king knobhead." I'm no lip-reader mind. If he has said that, he's in a lot of trouble, and I feel desperately sorry for him, because he's had to put up with a lot, most of it unjust, and he's an incredible player. Absolutely incredible. In the heat of battle things are said, and I think most people understand that, most people that have played the game at some level. A lot goes on and a lot of it's not nice. That's football. It happens all the time but alas Terry (may have) got caught. Bad luck seems to follow him around. Whereas most footballers have their super-injunctions upheld he had his lifted, for some reason, causing him irrevocable damage. There are some things you can't be caught saying anymore, despite the fact a lot worse things are said, and to my mind he's said it. He was wound-up, it was a hostile atmosphere, we had lost control of our emotions and we were playing on anger and a sense of injustice, and we were playing incredibly, with Terry at his unbelievable best. I love Terry, probably more than any other Chelsea player in my lifetime, and I'm no spring chicken. He really is the business. But I think he's said it and I'm awfully sad to say that. I think he'll be hammered and the stigma attached to him will just get bigger. I don't know why he's so hated but he just is, and a lot of that's a compliment, as he's such a strong personality. This could well be the end of his England career, and if it is, I for one won't be crying. I don't want him being jeered when he leads out the national team. He doesn't deserve that. Good riddance. He should serve the people that know him best. The people that love him. Chelsea fans. F**k England. Let them play Matthew Upson instead. Or Phil Jagielka. See how well they get on. http://www.guardian....-racist-remarks
  5. Shelly on the telly? Maybe she could go out with Oriol Romeu. They could have kids. Born and bred Englishmen. Then when Barca come knocking he could tell them to f**k off.
  6. I thought you should all know that Josh is going out with Brooke Vincent. She's in Coronation Street apparently. Coronation Street is a show on television. Television was invented by John Logie Baird. I'm sorry I can't give you any more information.
  7. You weren't at sh*te Hart Lane two years ago I take it, when Terry was sent off. Nor when their fan ran on at the end and lunged at Lampard. Edit: I was there both times and the atmosphere was toxic.
  8. Very interesting indeed. This guy Todd appears to have done nothing wrong, apart from ask awkward questions, questions the club (and CPO directors) clearly don't want asked. Buck and Gourlay have gone way down in my estimation over this whole sorry affair. They emerge with little credit. As for all those shares being sold in the last few weeks .. Quelle surprise.
  9. If it's true that Ferdinand abused the Chelsea fans at the end of the game, I hope we report him. It will all be on camera.
  10. He went up to Didier, he said, "Didier Didier Didier...", Didier looked at him, Mikel slowed things down a little bit, he looked left he looked right, he turned around and looked behind him, by which time he'd lost the opportunity to talk to Didier as Didier had already left the pitch.
  11. As a match-going Chelsea fan for over 30 years, I can categorically say Drogba is the best "Number 9" I've ever seen represent us. However his play-acting has embarrassed me at times, and anyone claiming he hasn't dived is splitting hairs. You can dive even if you've been touched, so stop being so pedantic. Also, Boswinga fouled SWP. It was a goalscoring opportunity, regardless of the fact he'd have probably missed. Terry was never going to reach SWP in a million years. It may have been harsh but we would never win an appeal, because on this occassion, Foy applied the letter of the law. It was still the worst refereeing performance I've seen in a long time mind, and Foy is beyond any reasonable doubt a c**t.
  12. Surely SKY could be made to hand over all their footage .. ?
  13. Apparently, Alan Hansen is going to go into forensic analysis of Terry's game next week, on MOTD. He's going to explain what exactly makes Terry so special. He is going to explain why he is the best defender of his generation. He's going to show Terry's bravery, his technique, his leadership, his reading of the game, his tackling, his heading, his threat from set pieces, and his overall organisational skills. He's going to explain why every single manager Terry plays for immediately makes him their captain, and he's going to ask us all to forgive him his indiscretions, as he does with Rooney every week, on the basis that the devil in him makes him the player he is. Oh no, sorry, he's going to eulogise about John O' Shea ..
  14. I heard an allegation that Terry played supremely well on Sunday. That he is by far the best defender in the Prem, and that he is England captain on merit. Oh no, I must have been dreaming.
  15. Like you I think our second-half performance was heroic, therefore Mikel's performance should be judged in that context, playing alongside only 7 other outfield teammates. However that particular incident was comical, and it's the third time I've noticed him do the same thing this season. If it's legitimate to dig out Luiz over his defending, it's legitimate to dig out everyone else, even given the extenuating circumstances, and to me his defending leaves a lot to be desired. That was schoolboy at best, in my opinion. Young had no-one to pass to, there was only one option open to him, yet Mikel declined to attempt a block. You can bet your bottom dollar that had Young scored there may have been a few questions, despite the fact the thought police would have tried to quash them.
  16. I want to know if anyone noticed Mikel's "defending" in the second-half when Young was clean through on goal on his own and shot wide? It was from Tarabbt's through ball? Does anyone remember? Does anyone have a clip? You really have got to see it from every angle to appreciate it in all its glory. A prize to the person who can work out what he's thinking ..
  17. It was an incredible second-half by us. It may stand us in good stead, particularly in terms of spirit. If AVB has any sense, he'll use our sense of grievance to our advantage, by fostering a siege mentality. We were scary second-half.
  18. MOTD2 last night, hosted by a Liverpool supporter, with Hansen and Dixon on the sofa. What chance did we have? 1. Never mentioned the fact Luiz was fouled before he committed the (same) foul. 2. No mention of their player making the most of the challenge but blame Luiz for the exact same thing later on, failing to mention it was a foul and therefore a pen. 3. Didn't even look at Lampard's penalty appeal. The fact is, in terms of the big decisions, it may look like Foy had a good game. It was in his overall performance where the fault lay. He booked us for everything whereas they could seemingly do what they wanted. They were manhandling us at every set piece. He never once had a word. Not even a warning. Etc etc. He'll get away with it and AVB will get a ban, mark my words.
  19. If you notice, at the end of that clip, Barton runs into Cech. Nothing is said. Later, Terry runs into Kenny. They face off. Only Terry is carded. Earlier, there was a face off when Lampard was fouled by Derry. Both carded.
