  1. And now there is an official contact between the two clubs. Anderlecht confirm they are in talks with Chelsea concerning a move for Romelu Lukaku "There is still a long way to go in the negotiations. We are indeed negotiating with Chelsea, but there are other clubs we are talking to," Van Holsbeeck told Sky Sports. The general manager of the Belgian club also refused to reveal precisely when the two clubs might come to an agreement, and said: "It could happen in the next half hour, it could take until August 31 - that is football." I can't seem to be able to post an URL, since I'm too new of a member. It's on goal.com anyway.
  2. It's bloody sad to read stuff like this. Greedy imbeciles are killing the soul of the beautiful game, and not only that, but also some of the most beautiful things about English culture in general. Shame on them...
  3. Hello all of you Blues fans and greetings from Helsinki, the capital of Finland! I've been watching football since kindergarten, both Finnish and English, but started supporting Chelsea a lot later. I've been to the Bridge once in 2010 and watch quite many of CFC's matches at my local pub. When I don't do that, I occupy myself with local football and the Finnish NT live, both home and abroad. I also enjoy a good football trip in Europe and hopefully at some point outside the continent as well! Seems like a good place for some Chelsea chat! Up the Blues!
  4. I've been thinking quite a bit about where football is heading the last couple of years, and it doesn't look pretty. Since I'm a follower of Chelsea from abroad (I support a club in my native Finland and the NT as well, watching loads of games), it's hard to get a real take on what local followers think. So what would most prefer: a trophy winning side with big earners or the real football experience, with a passionate home crowd and having a laugh with your mates regularly at football? I know I'd go for the latter one. It pisses me off that football is being destroyed, even though I'm a relatively new follower of Chelsea, too. It's sad to see that the atmosphere is nowadays often better even at American matches (Seattle, Portland), not to mention many European countries. In the end it all comes down to ticket prices. F**k the EPL and Sky!
  5. Are tickets available for non-members as well for the Chelsea section? Thought I might make a trip down there for the weekend, in case I find cheap plane tickets.
