Chelsea v Napoli (CL) 14/03/12 KO 19:45 GMT
Totally agree! While he may be 20+ hours without a goal, I think Mata says it best... In that he is playing superb and may not be scoring goals but he is contributing in so many other ways.... However despite (imo) shining on the right to Drogba tonight the British media will bring up how he missed his chance on that hard angled empty net... What they will fail to speak about is how the guy tracked back, made plays, and kept the ball moving in our favor... Ramires holds on that pass a second later in extra time and Torres is through, Game, Set, and Match! He was and has been a viable cog for us this season without the goals this season, imo...

MOTM v Napoli
Classic post DKW! I'M IN STITCHES!

MOTM v Napoli
MOTM for me was the whole squad! Everyone played exceptional! If I have to give it to someone it was our favorite son Roberto DiMatteo! He went with his gut and called the right squad on the pitch and even some of those substitutions in extra time that caused my blood pressure to elevate, he did well! If I am forced to choose one player, it has to be Luiz! Sure the old guard did it for us (as they have always) but for me Luiz showed he is disciplined and could be our future leader tonight! Even Neville called him out as shining a few times!

Alright, off to the pub! Watched the first half on my phone, placed an aftermarket trade of $4M and then had to ask myself what on Earth I had done because I was glued to the phone, white knuckled the steering wheel all the way home (missed Lampards Penalty) and caught the rest screaming at the television... I need a beer or 10! Synapses are firing madly! Great day... We all should be proud of how the squad fought through think and thin for this result! Can't wait to come home and hear the stories from the guys that were there today!

Terry in the post match gave his condolences to those kids on that bus accident last night in Switzerland... Pure class! May always get a bad rap but there is nobody better wearing that Armband, imo!

A move from Stamford Bridge
This is the last time I saw the Hallowed Ground that is as American as Apple pie... I'd be lying to you all to say a tear did not run down my face... A construction site! And the best part was that some auctions house auctioned EVERYTHING (and I mean down to restroom signs) to a bunch of wealthy memorabilia collectors!

A move from Stamford Bridge
Well I posted the question to Rami and it was never meant to discount his love for Chelsea, it was mereley wanting to hear his reasoning... However, having gone through this here in the States watching the Yankees move into their new luxurious diggs, I must say this... If you all think ticket prices are going to come down based on shear volume you are all sadly mistaken. I have been to the new Yankee Stadium 4 times now (I live 2K miles away in Denver) and I must say I've always paid top dollar (at least double) to now sit up in the bleeders, which are a few rows from the top. Instead of the traditional Baseball fare, I now get to buy sushi and porterhouse steaks for an obscene price... A beer now costs me $10, to park the car $30, and the best part is that no matter how early you get in for batting practice, someone will always check you're ticket and tell you that you don't have a luxury ticket to go down along the field. There is literally a 15-20ft gap of an aisle that separates the masses from the wealthy folk who usually don't know squat about the game and are there hoping to be in TV... We call it the moat! The Rangers at Madison Square Garden will now cost one at least $100 for a decent seat in the upper level, about 4 times that to be eye level with the ice and that's if you could fight the suits off of Wall Street who couldn't even tell you what an "offfsides" is in the first place. I know here in the States its more a business than over in the UK and I am not comparing things now but surely you all can see what I am talking about... Bigger venue simply means more opportunity to make money! Most Yankee fans were heartbroken over watching "The Stadium" "The House Ruth Built" or the other many nicknames it became after decades of Championships! The place where Lou Gehrig gave his farewell speech before dying, the place Maris broke the Ruthian mark of 61 Home runs in the last day of the season in his last atbat, the countless Octobers in the World Series... I know I am speaking American Baseball and most of you could care less but its the principle I am comparing it too! One should never trade up its history to make an extra buck and if they do, make sure its classy and does not alienate the true fan/supporter... In today world, I just do not see that happen... Who knows, maybe I don't know how it is in England (I've only been on her soil for 4-5 days in my life) and I hope it will not happen however everywhere I've been thus far, its the usual, Money talks and the rest walks! Hope I am wrong, just be careful what you all wish for...

A move from Stamford Bridge
I don't get it? Joke? I've never even been to SB for a match, (had the luxury of standing outside it once on a non-game day) but I would think the majority if feasible would want to stay put. I know my last time at Yankee Stadium was quite a sad one, knowing that you'll never return to the hallowed ground again that had so much history you frequented all you're life. I imagine very much the same for all of you who have so many good and not-so-good memories at SB... Rami, if your not joking than explain why you appear to have such disdain for Stamford Bridge?

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) 10/03/12 KO 15:00 GMT
I agree! That Gary Birtle is a real miserable bar steward... Did he say anything at all that was remotely positive about anything? All he did was birch and whine about the game itself... I switches the mute on because it was so depressing... More so than the play of Chelsea... After Ricardo's lapse of discipline, I hoped they could open them up a little but instead they just played crosses in... It was only when Mata came on did they show any kind of creativity, as usual! Not very promising and to think this was a Stoke side playing a man down its not going to get any easier from here on out.

Take Raul off and replace him with Mata... Rather see a carded Mikel on the pitch than Raul...
