Our terrible run coincided with Yaya going to ACON, I'm not really arsed about Kolo, but Yaya was a huge loss, luckily he's back after the Villa game. fortunately it was pretty much "only" the cup games that we bottled. Our problem was there was no fluid link between defence and midfield, luckily over the past two games Nasri has been played deeper which has helped a lot in that regard, but Yaya is irreplaceable.

That's possibly true, but nothing he has done thus far points towards knee-jerk decisions, which is what it would be and bar Mourinho, who else is available? And if it comes down to it, there's no guarantee that JM would come here. Either way a new manager means a new playing style which is just a further set back, if we don't win the league, I still think Mancini would get at least another season, anything else is just a movement back to square one.

It's not just that they've allowed it to happen, it's as if they don't even know what's going on, there's been absolutely nothing said by them or their representatives. It's insane, unless of course they agree with Dalgleish, which is even scarier.

That's a fair response but I think you need to take a look at the Sheikh's other business dealings before you can predict what he may or may not do. He bailed out RBS 2 years ago at the cost of £1bn, a year later he sold his shares for £8bn. He's an intelligent man and he won't take any decision lightly, especially if it comes down to Mancini who conducts himself (generally) as a gentleman, or Mourinho who in recent years has shown the complete opposite, I just can't see the Sheikh, or even our Chairman putting up with that. Especially if we come a close second.

It's a tough one, personally I'd stick with Mancini as he has a history of league success in Italy and I can see the progress he's making as well as what he is trying to make the team do, in other words "I can see where he's going". I've always been slightly reserved about Mourinho, whilst he is undoubtedly a winner, he's more a winner for himself and for his own gratification instead of creating a dynasty for any one club. You never feel that he is going to stay in any one place for a length of time and that concerns me, we've all seen how chopping and changing managers works in the end, we've been doing it for nigh on 3 decades and look where that got us. Stability is key, but only if you have the right man, and I think Mancini is the right man. Plus, he's turned in to somewhat of a cnut at Madrid, some of his actions and behaviour reeks of a desperate man.

I'm still pissed that we let Spuds have Adebayor on loan. I have no idea what the up tops were thinking, if it wasn't for his 8 assists and 9 goals Spuds would be nowhere near where they are. Make that 9 assists.

The pace they're playing with is impressive, I'm just glad that City don't have to play them again this year.

I think the reason CA was able to win the double was because he had a lot of experience with using older players in his AC days. I'd be inclined to partially agree with you regarding your last statement, he has one more year (I think) until the books get checked by EUFA for the FFPR. Ideally, similar to us, you build and hammer as much as you can before it kicks in, and even though we are showing huge losses this year, it doesn't take in to account the new sponsorship deal, or the CL money which points towards "significant work" towards meeting the requirements, he needs to spend, and he need to do it asap.
