I think using the slogan "written in the stars" by the fans and media was a great psychological benefit to us. Chelsea, through sheer dogged determination, kept on finding ways to come from behind to win and that expression must have been repeating over and over in the heads of our opponents. By convincing them it's destiny, it gave our opponents a sense of helplessness. It took away the feeling from our opponents that they had any control or say in the matter, and that's a beautiful thing.

I don't feel bad for him one bit. He was very passive aggressive in his "compliments". He didn't swear or call names, but he was basically spending all his time "very politely" tearing Chelsea down on here and somehow that made it ok.

really? out of 21 matches they think chelsea can only win 5 times? as I said before, because the final is in munich, a tonne of money is being put on bayern. the only way the bookies can get money on chelsea is by giving people better value than what's realistic. I said it before and I'll say it again, they're not that big of underdogs.

It may not be an even split but it's still gonna be the loudest cheers for the visitors they've ever heard at home, and the loudest boos aimed at them, by an order of magnitude. Yeah, Lahm's not the manager, lol, but it's still a pretty arrogant thing to say. Chickens before they've hatched, etc. I really get the feeling Bayern thinks they're entitled to this trophy and should have it handed to them now without having to work for it. I see it all the time in sports, the first game or two back from an injury, the player is running on adrenaline and they surprise everybody by performing at a top level. Then they slump for a bit after the adrenaline wears off (lucky for us there's only one game left). I know u're a Bayern fan so I don't really expect anything different, but every bit of good Chelsea news u're the first here to tear it down and tell us all how it's actually bad news for us.
