I haven't noticed any difference tbh. I don't like to see it whichever team does it personally, there is too much of it in the game as a whole.

Really enjoyable game to watch with there not being the same pressure on as the CL etc, both sides were up for it and it could have gone either way. Nice to see Martinez back at last for us, he is quite possibly our most important player. We were only on about page 17 when I last looked (just before the game) so I haven't read it all since but some of the arguing between the Chelsea fans surprises me A - It wasn't the CL final or a league decider and B - You played some decent stuff and could have won it, take the positives from it. Anyway who knows, we may yet meet again in the CL knockout phase, all the best for the league campaign.

Thiago and Martinez aren't playing either and Phillipp can play in midfield, it's a temporary thing but he has played midfield before and done a good job.

Lahm played three times in midfield in pre-season and scored in all three.

Pity Basti isn't playing, he and Lampard have become good mates. Schweinsteiger even wore Lampard's world cup shirt in a kick about with his mates in a Munich park a couple of years ago. After Basti congratulated Frank after the 2012 final despite his personal pain at missing the penalty Lampard didn't forget and texted Schweinsteiger after the win v Dortmund congratulating him on the win.

Surprisingly he has ! I never rated him either but he's improved lately and he's a good squad player, never moans when he's left out.

Don't worry mate we have our share of the childish and the tactless too. In anycase he has just been voted european footballer of the year, his looks don't concern me ! Kicker still has Basti in the line up but it seems he won't be playing. If this was a BL game I think he would play but it's not worth the risk for a game like this.

Ribery was in the form of his life last season and still is. He is no longer the "look at me" player he was when he joined Bayern, he covers every inch of grass from box to box and runs his heart out every game, . He is a joy to watch on current form, the fans love him in Munich and he loves us. I'm absolutely delighted for him that his hard work last season has been rewarded.

That's how I see it to be honest, Before the CL final against Dortmund the other month I was so nervous I had to have a fair skinful before kick off. I could only enjoy it the second time of watching ! This game there is no pressure, if we win great, if we lose it's no disaster. I imagine most of your fans feel the same. As you say the main thing is no injuries, if Schweinsteiger is not 100% I hope Pep leaves him out.
