If we were to "tempt him away" from spurs then a lot of the y*ds I know would consider it as us doing them a favour. For that reason alone, I'm out.

I share peoples' concerns about his lack of experience and fondness for Italian style backs-to-the-wall tactics, but I think at the very least he's earnt himself a shot, maybe on a 1-2 year contract at first. There seems to be great understanding and spirit between the players and management and it would be a shame to upset that now.

If he's annoyed about not being the first choice centre forward then really he only has himself to blame, it's not like he hasn't been given enough chances to nail it down. To be honest I'm amazed (and proud) with how patient the club and the fans have been with him. Anyway, it's obvious his words have been manipulated during the translation to stir sh*t up, as is the way of the media.
