What can we do?

Get rid of Scolarii. The argument about compensation falls flat because the way things are going we will fail to qualify for next seasons Champions League, the knock on effects of which would be far more disastrours than any compensation given to Scolari for dragging the team down to it's present level of non-performance.

The most unforgiving fact was that we were wasteful.

Why did we buy players like Sidwell, Robben, Kezman or Veron in the past, only to get glimpses from them at exorbitant prices before unloading them?

Did we get the best out of Bridge before he left? Nope. What about Sheva? Or the latest Deco? We knew that Deco was already past his prime yet we insist on getting him.

How much did it cost to pay off Raineri? Or Mourinho? Or Grant after less than a season? Even if Grant was acknowledged as a stop-gap transition, shouldn't we make it clear and not offer him a contract that was too costly to compensate?

Did Roman dump these unneccessary expenses onto Chelsea's book as liabilities?

While we are grateful for Abramovich's funding, he did not gift us the fund but it was on loan.

So we will pay the price in the coming years. Without fund, we will be mediocre in the coming years with an ageing squad.

The Shed End Forum relies on revenue to pay for hosting and upgrades. While we try to keep adverts as unobtrusive as possible without pop ups, we need to run ad's to make sure we can stay online and continue to keep the forum up, as over the years costs have become very high.

Could you please allow adverts on this domain by switching it off. Some of the advert banners can actually be closed to avoid interferance of your experience on The Shed End.

Cheers now!

Sure, let me in!
