Howdo

Alright lads and ladies!

Just thought as a new member I'd introduce myself and ask a few questions. Firstly (as proven by the name) I'm a northern Chelsea fan. Born and live in Manchester (which don't get me wrong I'm proud of), but I could never bring myself to support United or City (and certainly not the Merseyside teams!). In fact, the game that made me a Chelsea fan was the 5-0 thrashing of United at The Bridge in 2000. Watching it in the pub with my family and seeing the looks on United fans faces was brilliant- even though I was only 7 at the time! Anyway, I do pay to go to games sometimes home and away. I intend to go to uni in London so I can watch the Chelsea every week. I make the effort to go to all the local away games up here (including the big ones like Old Trafford etc) so I suppose by the standards of some Chelsea fans up here I'm not entirely an armchair fan! I'm also not afraid to sing chants with passion in spite of my northern accent haha!

Anyway, just curious as to Southern Chelsea fans views on Northerners such as myself supporting our fantastic club!

Cheers!

Adam

Welcome Adam. Others will give you a fuller reply than I can. But I know we are happy to have Chelsea fans from all over the world join us - not sure if we accept any from L*v*rp**l though! They'd have to make a very convincing case! Lofty would be the judge on that one!

Haha I take your point entirely! Although, on the train once to visit a friend in York, Arsenal fans were on the train travelling up to Boro for a 12.45 kick off, and I couldn't believe how many scouse gooners there were :Connie_threaten: Believe me, I honestly cannot stand anything scouse.

You'll be OK, then! :laugh2:
