I think the main thing to look at is Bosingwa. People will say that Ronney didn't use profane language, and therefore did not cause anyone to be upset other than the referee himself. however, I think all Bosingwa said was that the ref had acted like a "theif" and he got banned for 2 games!

Exactly. Like Bosingwa, Rooney suggested the game was crooked. Bosingwa got 2 games for that, and we all now know Rooney got off with a warning.

I watched the game on SKY and the ManUre players consistently haranguing the referee and thought if it was the Chelsea players we'd be done for "failing to control our players". What a surprise that ManUre get no comment or criticism of their behaviour! I try to switch off from these inconsistencies, and be like Westway, but sometimes it's just so glaring you wonder why no-one in the media picks it up?

Still top-of-the-league by five points and qualified in the CL so mustn't grumble too much. I, like many here, can recall many seasons when we were already destined for the relegation dog-fight at this stage of the season.
