I'm starting to wonder if Sturridge is injured or we are not playing him while we try to sort out the compo for citeh, hear me out on this, citeh want between 10-12 mill and we only want to pay 4-6 depending what you hear. Say we play him and he starts to bang in the goals citeh will try to milk us for every penny they can , as they are bitter loosing this talented youngster to us. What do you think people????

I thought the deal was done, so how can citeh come back after the transaction and ask for more money?

Anyway, I've been wondering about Sturridge quite a bit. I saw him play live in the pre-season tour in Seattle, and he looked good! However, it seems that he's just not making it with Carlo. He's playing a lot of Ressie games, so he can't be too injured (unless he's not been playing those lately?) so it does seem strange that if he's that good he's not even making the bench! I guess Carlo thinks he's not quite near Chelsea's first team, and is getting him as much playing time as he can.

I wonder if Kalou's injury makes it likely that we'l see more of Sturridge. But if we see more of Borini (and sturridge is fit) then I think that'll tell us where he is in the pecking order amongst out strikers

I think it's a case that his contract was out, but being under 24 years of age, we had to pay some compensation, because they had trained him. It would have been a certain amount (decided by a tribunal), and more money depending on his success...

At least that's how I think it works.

Pretty sure he's also injured at the moment.
