I did a search to check if this has been discussed and didn't find a dedicated thread. How do you guys feel about him? I know we've been linked with Van der Vaart and with Deco leaving, possibly Ballack too - we're going to need to strengthen our midfield, especially creatively. Personally I think this guy would be a better option to VdV because of his age. I think its great that we're being linked with up and coming stars like Aguero and Hamsik in general rather than blowing a fortune on ready made stars in their prime. Its good policy and from what I've seen of Ancelotti, he prefers that approach. Anyway the Times linked us to him back at the beginning of the season so its probably got some merit to it as opposed to the tabloids.
