blizeH Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Not sure if the title makes, but anyhow I want to get all of the Chelsea fixtures onto my Google calendar and onto the calendar on my phone somehow, but so far I can only find two: 1) The official one with *all* of the fixtures but loads of crap that's on Chelsea TV, interviews and other stuff I don't want cluttering up my phone 2) An unofficial one with just EPL fixtures. I'm in a position now where I'm possibly going from just one or two (away) matches a season, to going to as many home matches as possible and something like this would make my life a lot easier in getting an idea of what's going on and when, especially with the mid week Carling Cup and CL games on the way! Any recommendations please guys? There must be something out there right?
blizeH Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 Meh, should've had a proper look before asking sorry, but this one is perfect if anyone else reading this is interested - http://sportcal.telegraph.co.uk/calendar/team:football-chelsea/download.html
superdan Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 The telegraph one has been stopped - anyone got any others or want to club together and make and update a new one ?
blizeH Posted September 24, 2010 Author Posted September 24, 2010 Yup, I use this one now - http://www.soccerway.com/teams/england/chelsea-football-club/matches/ Click the 'add schedule to your calendar' button to the left and enter your email address. It's a bit fiddly but it's working very nicely for me now, awesome to have all of the Chelsea fixtures on my phone calendar too :D
ethicalstrategy Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 The club have the fixtures for download as an outlook calendar and as a word document. Fixture downloads
blizeH Posted September 24, 2010 Author Posted September 24, 2010 Thanks ethical - it's good, but! it has loads of other stuff on there that whilst some of it I am interested in, I don't want filling up my google/phone calendar you know? Like if I'm planning somethnig I'll check my phone to quickly see if it'll clash with a game, but the other stuff on there (interviews, youth games, reserve matches, conferences etc) I wouldn't really take into consideration for making plans.
ethicalstrategy Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Ah, I hadn't noticed that they had a google calendar on there now. The outlook one doesn't have all the other stuff, just the fixtures.
superdan Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Thanks for new link. Problem with the club one is that it doesn't auto update when fixtures change, every time the new TV fixtures come out or when there is a cup clash etc. I had a super world cup one which even updated scores for you after the match!
