When you says big store chain, have you got an exemple?

Don't know about any specific job, but by the store chains I think about Tesco or Marks & Spencer, IKEA.

Depending on the type of work, I'd say a restaurant, cafe or bar would be your best bet

There's a chain of French cafés called Café Rouge with lots of outlets in London. If you key Café Rouge, London into Google it will give you the addresses of all the Cafés Rouges in London. Then you can contact them in advance if you want to.
