drogs - a few pointers

Featured Replies

to start - we know he has it in him to turn it on - 37 goals last season!

we also know the malaria has affected his general play and fitness..........BUT

on Weds in Marseille he was absolutely awful, 80% pace and effort, plenty of prancing about, gesticulating and WELL DONE CARLO FOR SUBBING HIM

So what next, well;

1. he needs to get in the 6 yard box faster when we have some wing play and stop dawdling

2. when he has the ball played into him, stop trying fancy flicks - get hold of it, find a blue shirt and move on

3. if he gets a free kick and its within 30 yards................vary the kick - don't just loop it over the wall

4. if he's gonna leap and head it, make sure he knows where his team mates are

if plays so poorly again - Carlo should drop him, but I don't think he will

2-1 blueboys, drogs to score

Best explains about Drogba over the past few weeks ...

He's been poor for a few games now and as much as I love him he dint look his normal self against Marseille. Emotions apart you expect a lot more from one of the leaders in the team and its very disappointing to say that he dint put his best foot forward and I hope he realizes it. Would love to see him rip Spurs apart but on current form it looks unlikely.

I've emailed Drogs and told him to take a look at your advice. I'm sure he will be grateful!
