Some interesting stuff. It's clear that Flo's worried he's on the way out and on a certain level I sympathize but then I start to remember his indifferent form for half of his Chelsea career. Anyway, nice read.
April 29, 201113 yr Yes, good interview. Seems like a good bloke with a real team ethic, who is totally committed to the club. At his best he's a top player - as he proved last season. This season he's been well below his best - but he's not alone in that, is he? Interesting that he reads the stuff in the press and doesn't dismiss it as tabloid bollocks, but I think it's good that players have nagging insecurities. You want them to have real hunger and determination to prove themselves indispensable, not a sense of comfortable complacency. This insecurity may well be behind our recent improvement in results and climb up the table.
April 29, 201113 yr problem is if you want chelsea to want you, you don't disappear for four months...overall, I think he has been a good signing for chelsea, but not sure the club can afford to keep someone who only plays well when in the right mood
