MALOUDA HITS THE AIRWAVES

Posted on: Fri 10 Jun 2011

Florent Malouda is now on holiday from football and free to concentrate on his hobbies for a few weeks and the fruits of one of them, drumming, can be heard in a BBC radio programme on Saturday.

In Music and Football Don't Mix, Malouda joins eight other professional players in making a record with the hope of having it played on BBC Radio One in the daytime.

The Chelsea man plays drums and tambourine on the track (Tottenham's Jermain Defoe is on triangle) and also talks in the programme about his team-mates' musical tastes.

Music and Football Don't Mix is on BBC Radio 5 Live this Saturday at 11am.

Do you even need musical talent to play the triangle?

Uhhhh, no! You don't even need rhythm, because no-one will hear it!!!

The triangle used on Killer Queen would beg to differ ;)

:laugh2: She would indeed (Not sure why, but I've always pictured triangles as female instruments...)
