Well, only a month to the start of the season and Kenny Dogpiss has brought practically a whole new team for the mousers, oul Red Nose has invested heavily at the Theatre of Muppets and Sheikh Fatwad at Man Titty is busy chasing after Nasri and Aguerro. Whilst by contrast we have brought a 19 year old Belgian goalie and been linked in the newspapers at the weekend with moves for Jermaine Jenas and Scott Parker!!!

Yes, of course there is the Modric saga, (a player I would personally love to see at the Bridge), but that is now becoming a saga of epic proportions. Let's hope it's not turning into "Gone With The Wind" eh. It makes one wonder if Abramovich is suddenly taking financial advice from Arsene Wenger? If you are serious Roman, stop faffing around. Pay the money and get the deal done pronto.

And on top of all this................................................................... we still have Kalou !

People keep forgetting that we got Torres and Luiz in the january window as well!

We will get players coming in, and im sure one of them will be a 'marquee' signing.

Have you not read or seen any of AVB's quotes in the last two weeks? Calm down and just wait a little bit. We will be making signings. It will happen, but you have to wait until after the trip that the team is on. AVB wants to make sure that he knows what he has in his players. It doesn't make sense for him to make major transfer decisions when he hasn't seen all of his players play. He wants to get to know these players at a better level. Then, based on what he thinks he needs to play the type of footbal he wants, he will make suggestions on who to get. Until then, just relax and enjoy the next couple preseason games.

Have united really strengthened.. at all? They've gotten younger that's for sure. But after spending £50m+ they have a 20 year old replacement for Van der Sar and the same midfield that got destroyed by Barca minus Scholes.

Arsenal have lost Clichy and brought in Gervinho, another tiny dribbler. And two of their three best players want out. Great!

City haven't really done anything of note yet. An Aguero for Tevez switch does seem likely, which I have to assume would weaken them.

As for Liverpool, well, if nothing else they should win a prize for most number of midfielders used in a season.

I agree. Plus AVB has already told number of times that he is assessing the team at the moment. Attention to detail is why is so successful as a manager. I think we have a good chance of landing Modric which would strengthen the team and we have Torres and Luiz almost new signings.

I can understand that people get frustrated as there was a lot of talk about names like Neymar and Aguero. I just like us to have a winning team no matter the names on their backs.
