Kevin Williams Petition

Featured Replies

For over 20 years, Anne Williams has fought in vain for a new inquest into the death of her son Kevin, who was one of 96 Liverpool football fans killed in the Hillsborough stadium disaster. Anne believes the original inquest into Kevin's death was 'riddled with corruption', and that 'vital evidence' was suppressed.

You can help Anne force a new inquest by signing the petition below:

Sign the petition here:

Please just take a minute to sign it, it needs thousands more signatures by tomorow night.

Thanks alot.

I could not sign it, as it said you had to be a UK citizen, which I am not.

Good luck, Jamie.

Ok thanks for trying it.

The problem I have with the whole Kevin Williams thing is that none of the 'new evidence' I've read about actually proves he wasn't brain dead. Breathing can continue past brain death (it's a reflex done by a different section of the brain) and the newly deceased are notorious for making distressing noises and movement (a single syllable word that can easily be mumbled is not conclusive).

As much as I feel for this mother, what will she get from a new inquest, her son will still be dead, and no-one is going to be prosecuted!

It's time to let the dead lay in peace, and move on!
