Senna was the absolute best! I remember I was around 7 and 8 when he won some of those championships, as I live in Canada I would have to sneak out and wake up to watch the races late at night on CBC, my parents would often find me asleep on the couch in the mornings. Absolutely bawled my eyes out when he died as a child, so sad. I assume you've seen the documentary just release the last year on him? Senna and Villeneuve remain my favourite drivers to this day.

I cant really watch F1 anymore, its more of an advertising procession broken up by a few pit stops. The old F1 had proper racers who were allowed to race, now the only proper racers like Hamilton etc arent allowed to do anything through fear of being done by the stewards as its so sanitized.

That's mostly true, but for me it still brings back the old feelings. When the race is on and I hear the sound of the engines I am transformed back to the 10yr old who was watching Senna at his best. So it may not be about the actual race anymore, but it's still a satisfying experience. Going back to your old self with no hypnosis involved is fun :)

The Shed End Forum relies on revenue to pay for hosting and upgrades. While we try to keep adverts as unobtrusive as possible without pop ups, we need to run ad's to make sure we can stay online and continue to keep the forum up, as over the years costs have become very high.

Could you please allow adverts on this domain by switching it off. Some of the advert banners can actually be closed to avoid interferance of your experience on The Shed End.

Cheers now!

Alright already, It's off!
