blizeH
I really don't understand why we'd play f**king Arsenal in a pre-season game, agh Also, why do we always go to America? There's a huge market in Asia (and East Asia in particular) that we just constantly neglect.

There is a healty market in the States too and I guess as we alternate between far east and the US it kind of makes sense. Plus, we'll be out in Japan in December now (which admittedly we wouldn't have known when we planned the US tour), so the far east will get their Chelsea fix and we can 'milk the Hulk' in the place where he was given the nickname. Also not sure why Chelsea never visits one of the Canadian cities while in America. I guess New York and Seattle are close enough to Toronto and Vancouver respectively, but still. boswinga09
chelsea visited malaysia last summer, we won the asia cup. we do have a massive following in malaysia but also in the states. Going USA is good, theres probably more money in it cos the stadiums there are quite big

We've already had Real, Man U, Juventus, Benfica, West Ham, Celtic, Bolton in Toronto with Liverpool coming this summer. I guess in Canada most people already have a favorite team since the sport is popular. U.S. gives Chelsea the opportunity to get new fans.

flyrr100
Lots of Blues fans here. Many ex pats and plenty of new US fans. Two years ago we sold out Baltimore, Dallas, Seattle, LA. Cant wait for the Miami game. 100% humidity and 90+ degrees! And I'll wager CIA (Chelsea in America) are the largest International affiliated fan club. That's because the population is small, everyone thinks rugby is football and its 24 hours on a plane with a huge time difference.
skippy
That's because the population is small, everyone thinks rugby is football and its 24 hours on a plane with a huge time difference. Only 2 of our states do that, the majority of Australia thinks AFL is football.
