I use the term knocked out very loosely. Think it's quite clear that the ref is faking that and if he was actually unconscious it was because he made a meal out of the slightest of bodychecks, flopped backwards like a starfish and landed on his head.

Worse thing was he was up again in a few mins with no help at all, looking fine and dandy. Still decided to stop the match though.

Dusseldorf are going to make an formal compliant to UEFA and Luisao could be charged for that. Well, he most likely will because they are obviously going to take the ref's word.

Reason Luisao was protesting so much in the first place was probably to do with the mixture of events that happened just before that indicent. The ref smacks Maxi Pereira in the face (He didn't go down like a starfish, probably should have) and was about to send Javi Garcia off for basically nothing.
