Other that the obvious reason for being here, I like good music, good craft beer and good whisky. My reasoning behind being a Chelsea supporter often gets me into heated arguments, and a fair amount of fans hate me for it. That being said, I will explain now so that people can get the digs/messages of hate in early.

I stopped watching football for about 10 years because I thought that listening to a load of political music meant that I shoudln't support a sport so heavily involved with mass spending. Then I grew up. The only problem being, I didn't have a team.

My father is an avid Chelsea fan, so in my ten year gap from the sport, they are the only team I knew anything about for a fair while! Despite that, I still went to a home game of a good chunk of the London/surrounding area teams (minus Arsenal and Tottenham, because even with 10 years out, I still had no wish to like them) to see if any felt right. I enjoyed Chelsea the most, and didn't feel like I had a complete 10 year gap of knowledge, so I started going to the odd game... Which led to lot's of games.... Which led to a season ticket.

It winds me up to be called a "glory hunter" because I am mid twenties and a fairly new supporter, but I'm happy to know that glory hunting isn't the reason I started supporting Chelsea!

Long winded explanation over.

Hey, you like good music and good whisky, and you have belatedly decided to follow in the footsteps of your wise father.  Can't be bad!!

Welcome to the Shed End.  Is you dad a member?

Thank you! Sadly not, his understanding of computers is capped at using a calculator!

Welcome aboard.

Regarding technophobic old people, I love suggestions from grandparents that I should 'go into IT' or 'go into computers' as a career path, in their eyes an understanding of complex operating systems and computer languages (code et al) must come naturally to a daily user!

It's not black and white, though, my grandmother's sister's husband has adapted brilliantly, he texts more than I do. (not that I actually own a cellphone, I'm one of the nought point one percent of teenagers that doesn't)

A teenager! I never would have guessed it by your posts.

Rest assured it's a compliment
