Stamford Bridge Atmosphere - A Plan - General Chelsea FC - The Shed End

Hello guys and girls,

You may have seen this in Chelsea Match Chat but I thought I would post it here too.

What Jose said about Stamford Bridge and its atmosphere is true - for the most part it is luke warm. It is something that gets to me quite a bit.

There is nothing better than when the ground is in full voice. It is fun, it is spine tingling and it makes you proud.

I sit in the Shed End Upper behind the goal - and this is where the email becomes a little more fan focused.

I propose that we set up a Shed End collective for those who either have Season Tickets or who are regular Shed End goers. I know there have been a few attempts in the past, but what I think we can achieve is very simple but very affective.

Let's just say that we have 10 people who agree to this who all sit in The Shed. We would arrange a time to meet before a game and discuss possible options for visual displays at the Bridge (i.e giant banners, ticker tape, mosaics... even balloons and any other ideas we can come up with that we think will improve the atmosphere during the game). We would discuss options and set a game whereby we would implement the plan, and split costs accordingly (with ten people it would be no more than Â£10 per person max, and the more we have the cheaper it becomes to do bigger things)

Now, I understand there are complications revolving around stadium rules and regulations, but once we have a collective/body and a specific plan - we can then gain seek to contact the club to gain permission for our display.

I know some people here may think it isn't worth doing or that someone else will do it. But we can and you can be a part of it. We could create a new thing the club is famous for. People across Europe could be talking about how great our fans are and how amazing it looks and sounds.

All I am asking is for those of you (who sit or frequent The Shed) who are interested in making this happen with me to say that they are in and to drop me an email at [email protected] and we will take the first step together from there.
