The Countdown Begins

Featured Replies

After the disappointment of last night, we turn our focus to the premiere league, where we have 11 big matches to go.

We need approach each game as a final if we want yo win the league.

Which leave me with questions to ask...Which match do you think will be more difficult? For us to win, Does it depend on the ground or the opponent?

Can we actually decide the title without finishing all our matches?

Cliche time.

The hardest game is always the next game.

No point worrying about Liverpool or Manchester United.

We've just got to take each game as it comes and hope to secure maxim points as often as possible.

Soton will be the hardest match to win and that's based entirely on yesterdays miserable performance and the fact that everyone except defenders have stopped scoring...

We need a convincing win vs. Soton to remind the team they are going to win the league. Anything less will leave us vulnerable.

Any match is challenging especially in the latter part of the season.

Facing teams in the relegation zone could be a nightmare for top sides as those sides will be desperate to win at all costs. Look at Burnley against Manchester City yesterday being a case in point here.

Complacency is what will cost us if we don't win it this season but after what happened on Wednesday night I'm sure Jose and the boys are very determined to win this title! Over the whole course of the season we've been the best side going around without question as Man City has been far too inconsistent this season.

However for now our attentions should be solely focused on defeating Southampton today before anything else.
