David Luiz's UAE twin - Silky attacking midfielder

Just saw this guy. 23 years old, UAE international who was reportedly the star of the 2015 Asia Cup. Uncanny resemblance to David Luiz.

Apparently quite a few teams were interested in with his club refusing to sell.

Very impressive, albeit against low quality opposition.

Has some sweet passing and technical ability. Seems to lack a bit of pace though. Watching him, the first thought came to mind was that old football cliche about quality players looking like they have a lot of time on the ball even when they don't...

He's an excellent player, but his growth is stagnated by playing in Asia. He'd be an excellent pickup for a Championship side.

I'm assuming you got to see quite a bit of him since you're an Aussie. If you rate him at Championship level then I guess he must be pretty far off his highlights vids.

I thought there were a few clubs from the major European leagues interested in him, but the owners being so wealthy have managed to fend off any potential move away for now at least.

There was a young Ecuadorian or Colombian midfielder I remember seeing a few years back who had similar qualities and looked a future star. Quintero, or something similar, was his name. I believe he moved to Porto where it didn't work out. Don't know what he's doing now though.
