My post was talking broadly about there being rules in place that are specifically there to prohibit certain types of celebration from players.

My main gripe being that players who choose to celebrate with the people that ensure football as spectacle even exists are viewed as doing something that should be punished.

Well, the guy you quoted clearly stated that he didn't agree with the rule but he understood why the ref had to make the call and when you quoted the guy who disagree the ref should be blamed for that booking, I thought you're disagreeing with him, misunderstanding then..

 

Talking about stupid rule, another would be the booking for taking off shirt and touchline ban.. it's comical..
