From BBC Sport:

Spurs in clear over fan incident

Tottenham have been cleared of any blame after a fan ran on to the pitch following their FA Cup replay and aimed a punch at Chelsea's Frank Lampard.

Chelsea's quarter-final win descended into chaos after the final whistle when Lampard was forced to duck a punch.

The Football Association looked into security provisions at Spurs.

But a statement said: "After reviewing a video of the incident and receiving a full report from Spurs, there will not be any disciplinary action."

The fan has since been banned from attending football matches in England and Wales for three years, while Spurs have barred him from the club for life.

Another fan who ran on to the pitch also received a three-year ban and both offenders were given ?300 fines.

The incidents came after Chelsea won the quarter-final replay at White Hart Lane 2-1, thanks to second-half goals from Andriy Shevchenko and Shaun Wright-Phillips.

I can't help thinking back to the relegation match at 3 point Lane, the one they always used to show on TV to demonstrate that Chelsea had the worst hooligans in the country. The strange thing is that on the day, most Chelsea fans never even got into the ground (I did), even stranger that they showed half a dozen or so y*ds - with THFC scarves on no less - steaming into one Chelsea fan, and we got blamed for that as well. God I hate Tottnumb.

I remember that day well, I was one of the thousands of Chelsea fans who couldn't get into the ground.

It still pisses me off that Spuds fans look upon that day as a victory over the Chelsea lads - the ones that got in the ground were totally outnumbered. It was a bit different outside after the game icon_wink.gif

Our mistake that day was meeting at Fulham Broadway then going to Liverpool Street. I only got in because I sneaked to the front of the queue - in those days I had far more front than was good for me. Before the game, our end (forget which) was so overcrowded that 100s of us spilled onto the pitch. At one time I was sitting on the trainer's bench watching it all go off. Until some old bill dragged me off and slung me back onto terraces. Very fortunately for me this was a corner where a couple of 100 or so of our boys had got together. Those were the days, eh.
