April 24, 20179 yr Hi all, I used to go to Chelsea home and away 1989-1998. By the end I assume this was the start of the good years with the FA Cup win in 1997. I never intended to become a supporter as I always preferred playing but health injuries stopped me playing and through work friends in South London I found Chelsea. After a couple of matches I found I was hooked and started meeting others on away trips and some of my own friends also wanted to come. I enjoyed the camaraderie even though at times the football was dire. I stopped going in 98 as I lived down under for 4 years and when I came back realised I had multiple health problems including wi-fi sensitivity which means I now need to be careful. So now follow Chelsea via the net and tv. Supporting in the 90s was a strange time and I saw a few things I will share with you lot over time, some bizarre, some sad, some funny and a few really great. I voted Brexit as down our way most crime seems to be done by Afro-Caribbean youngsters and Rumanians ( according to a local police chap) so amongst other reasons think it’s time we held our own politicians to account rather than be dominated by elites all over Europe. Not sure I like Conte’s 3-4-3 system though his first season has been superb considering the resources at his disposal and what a massive win over the Spuds! Look forward to sharing news, ideas and opinions.
