Sad to see that the Fox and Pheasant was shut on Monday.  I heard someone say in the Chelsea Pensioner that it was permanent so I did a google search and rumour has it that James Blunt has bought it!  Can't see if remaining a match day pub if that's the case.

I have tweeted him asking him to make sure it's open on Monday as I missed my pre-match pint.  I will report back if he replies!

Oh thanks for that - well so far it is still a pub - but a closed pub not an open one!

Yeah and fair play to him that he actually acknowledges the rhyming slang in his twitter profile!  No matter what you think of his music, he has a very good sense of humour!

Yes he does. Seems like a decent bloke.
