Fun season ahead?

Frankie is a winner not a dreamer. He knows we have massive quality in our team but we are unable to buy the right quality. The youth is the most exciting part of the new season but I don't think we will see the youth as much as media is making of it. Most of our youth have already broken in the side or the big leagues apart from Tammy, Mason and Reece James. Callum and Ruben are already integral part of it as is Christensen.

Tammy is behind Giroud and Michy, Mason is behind 5-6 top class midfielders and Reece James is behind our captain. So the chances to feature are slim.

When the media talks about playing the youth they just want to see exciting new young players for their own amusement not Chelsea to win games. They have different targets than Frank and the club.

We are all about winning and as you can hear it from players this is what they want as well. Giroud said he wants to win and so did Kovacic. They know it means you need to be tough and experience is one big part of it.

Granted this season is about getting games to the exciting youth as well as Frank to break into Prem football. But don't fall into dreaming the club wants only this. They want CL and win a cup. That is just reality. Maybe in a club like Arsenal they have diffrent targets but I like the ones we have.

Winning is not romantic. It is winning.
