A survey by http://www.fanchants.com was conducted to find out which fans were the loudest and which fans had the most number of songs during 90mins. The survey was conducted during the first four games of the current season.

Nosiest Fans (Top 5)

1. Portsmouth 97 Decibels

2. Newcastle 96 Decibels

3. Liverpool 96 Decibels

4. Manchester United 94 Decibels

5. Sheffield United 91 Decibels

Somewhere near the bottom - Arsenal 77 Decibels

No. of Songs in 90 mins (Top 5)

1. Manchester United 34

2. Chelsea 33

3. Manchester City 27

4. Bolton 24

5. Portsmouth 23

Somewhere near the bottom - Arsenal 13

Singing Duration (Top 5)

1. Portsmouth 58 of the 90 mins

2. Manchester United 55 of the 90 mins

3. Bolton 50 of the 90 mins

4. Sheffield United 45 of the 90 mins

5. Aston Villa 45 of the 90 mins.

Again, somewhere near the bottom - Arsenal: just over 30 mins.

I've been to several matches where Pompey have been the oppersition, and plenty more when Liverpool have - no question who sings the most throughout. Anyone can sing before a match or for the first 5 minutes - but Pompey do it all the way through. Top fans.
