Membership and ticket help

Featured Replies

Hi, hope this is the correct place to ask. My son who is 10 has gone against me and is an avid Chelsea fan now, being a Leyton Orient supporter, I don't blame him :)

Last year for Christmas I got him a signed Cole Palmer shirt and some tickets to a home game Vs Everton, he loved it. The tickets however were VERY expensive and I feel I may of taken the incorrect route, this year I was thinking I should become a member and make use of the ticket exchange, my question is this...

If he has a junior membership, am I able to access the exchange and get tickets for us both? Or do we both need to be members?

Also, is the ticket exchange reasonably priced? I paid over £350 for two tickets, so I'm assuming membership and ticket purchase would be more reasonable??

Sorry for my lack of knowledge in this area, we don't get this issue down the Orient :)

Thanks in advance

Hello James.

Yes, you both need to be members. Junior one for the lad and adult one for you. Look out for dates when match tickets go on sale then go onto the site. You'll have to wait in a " virtual waiting room" for ages, . I can't think of any other way to do it . The ticket exchange tickets are the normal price for whatever category the game is, they are not inflated or anything.

Go on the club website and navigate to " tickets" . All the info you need is on there mate.

Good luck

@JamesC you may have already seen this but a useful link about the Ticket Exchange. As @The Rising Sun mentioned you can be in the virtual waiting room for ages. It's estimated by the Chelsea Supporters Trust that there is about 5.000 tickets available to members for league matches. Might be easier to get tickets for cup matches.

All the best in getting tickets.

Spoke too soon !

The request has been successful but the money goes into my account 10 days after the window for requesting transfer of funds closes ! Oops ! Looks like I'm talking to myself again !!

Hi mate, sorry for the delay in replying. I did receive the email, thanks. Worth bearing in mind if I have to put my ticket on the exchange.
