It may lose the sadness temporarily of the last week. I did watch it last night - a wonderful season full of exciting football, extravagant press conferences, anticipation from fans and players alike, and a tremendous climax. You couldn't have scripted it (Brian M might have!). Gudjohnsen was sublime, Duff explosive, JT a rock, Maka impish, Lamps a powerhouse, Robben exciting, Joey Cole and all the others so, so important - it truly was the best season ever, from start to finish. I will never forget it, its made such a difference to my life. Watch it - then ask yourself if you'll ever see the like again.

Mod
Well I got on Monday when the DVD came out. It was my way of escaping the events at the club, as I wouldn't normally race to buy it straight away. The DVD is brilliant, and the footage is really good. It covers Jose's seasons at the club, premiership and cup wins, the big signings are on it. Footage around the big games, The Barca Champs league games and Liverpool. There's Training ground footage from Cobham and stuff like that on it too. It follows a few fans, in the UK and the U.S, what they do for the games, etc. I'd recommend it. The Brit
i didn't like it myself...didn't really have enough new stuff and most of it was following what fans thought...well as a fan i know what i thought and how i watched the games, so watching some other fans enjoying the games was a bit lame to me...i felt a lot of the interviews/footage were actually just taken from chelsea tv over the last three years...still if you want a record of the last three years go ahead, if you have bought a season review each season then don't bother...the one good thing about it was to at least see a confident winning goalscoring team...already seems a long time ago somehow! Jack
Got this given to me yesterday for my xxth birthday (!) - watched it this afternoon and I highly recommend it as a history of the Mourinho era, the ups and the downs are there in one package. Something to cherish as we try to move on with our lives!

Mod
If you can get Sky One, the schedule I'm looking at says it on tomorrow at 10pm? Thanks, if it's the same one (which I believe it is), put it on TV within weeks of selling it for £18 !!

BLUENUT
Absolute piss take. It was like a promotion video for football in the states. Why keep flicking from the bridge to some w**ky-punk based in the states to or some American bird celebrating in a bar on her own!?! Some good clips of jose, but too many of Kenyon!! It's was like watching Jose's epitaph, everyone talking about him being the best manager we've had, breath of fresh air, then they go and sack him. I wouldn't be suprised if they asked him to hang on with the club until this film was released, it would have been pointless releasing it if he'd have left any earlier. I wonder what the sales were like across the US cos that's where this film was marketed for. They've waited a few weeks sold it off to SKY to broadcast. (you'd have thought the club would have had more sense and waited until the xmas sales were taken care of ) - bad marketing I must say! If you were thinking of getting it as a present for someone for Christmas, don't bother, wait for SKY to repeat it!! Save your money
callista
I bought the DVD....and it promptly appears on Sky - thank you Chelsea! So weird seeing this because it is literally like Jose's epitaph, no mention of Sheva and Ballack, no mention of Grant, just the wonderful three years ride we had - actually missed bits as I was busy doing other stuff (and of course I have the DVD!) but boy did it make me realise how charismatic our former manager was and the great kick up the backside he gave this club which took us to another level in terms of achievement and more importantly a new mental toughness which the team carry with it today and not that is one thing that Grant cannot say is his doing. I wonder what the hell Jose was thinking about watching this in the cinema that night when literally hours later he would be clutching his P45 and a rather large cheque and be shown the door with a thanks but don't darken another premiership door for at least a year from the club he served so brilliantly. He got a fat pay off of course but I couldn't help getting a lump in my throat whenever he came on screen wondering what might have been if only Roman and he could have kissed and made up. So strange having it right after the Rosenborg trouncing with Grant in charge and then you watch this! Football sure is a funny old game. Sky are bound to repeat this so I agree not to waste buying the DVD.
clubhappy
Bought it on DVD, bollocks . Enjoyed a lot of it but very few interviews with local fans which pissed me off. It also came across as if it was the end of an era now heres the story . I enjoyed hearing from Tony Millard [ right surname] ? and there were some good dressing room clips which the wife enjoyed. I was also very disappointed with the Chelsea history DVD. Bugger all clips of Hudson, Houseman, Baldwin , Weller etc etc , good interview with Ossie but no footage from the 70's .
